Deepa: Hi, my name is Deepa and I am looking for a house in Koramangala area. Am I speaking to Mr. Jeetu?

Jeetu: Yes ma'am. Jeetu here. How can I help you?

D: I got your reference from Ms. Rao. Could you help me findg a house, please, on rent?

J: Yes Ma’am. Thank you for calling me. Are you looking for a house only in Koramangala or any other area nearby is also ok?

D: Well, I prefer Koramangala but in case I cannot find, I am okay with nearby areas also.

J: Okay ma’am. What is your requirement, I mean what kind of house are you looking for?

D: Well a two-bedroom house, preferably a furnished flat?

J: How much rent are you ready to pay? The rent in that area for a 2BHK semi-furnished flat is around 40k minimum.

D: What is semi-furnished flat?

J: You get built-in wardrobes, beds, sofa set, and a modular kitchen with back-up electricity.

D: Yes, I understand. Now I have an idea of the rent. I heard that it is on the higher side in that area. How much is the rent in nearby areas?

J: It’s a little cheaper than here. Madiwala area will be, will have around 35k, Bommanahalli will be around 37k and BTM also in the similar range.

D: Ok, let me see some houses in Koramangala first. Then I will decide. And yes, I need a house that has continuous water supply. Also, I have a pet dog so in case some apartments don’t allow pets, they won’t suit me. I would prefer a house on the upper floors and want to avoid the ground floor completely. Also, if there is a gym in the complex, that would be great. And yes, it should be air-conditioned house.

J: Ok ma’am I have made a note of your requirements. Let me repeat your requirements again. Twenty-four hours water supply, house not on ground floor, permission for pet dog, gym, air conditioned house, rent around 40k. I will get back to you with a list of suitable houses by this evening. I will give you a call and if you're free tomorrow, I can show you some houses. Would that be fine ma'am?

D: Well I am working till Friday and won’t have time. Can you show me the houses on Sunday?

J: Ok ma’am, but houses get booked on a daily basis so I would recommend you to see them as soon as possible.

D: Pardon? I didn't understand.

J: The houses are rented very soon. So you have to see and decide quickly.

D: Oh is it? Well then I will take permission from work and confirm by today evening.

J: Okay ma’am I will call you later. Your name again?

D: It is Deepa.

J: Yes, thank you Deepa-ma'am. Bye.

D: Goodbye and see you.
